[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation announced on the 13th that it will hire 36 new employees in the second half of this year.

The number of hires by recruitment type is ▲13 in the Information Technology (IT) field ▲16 in the general recruitment ▲7 in the high school graduate recruitment.

The corporation plans to prioritize hiring new IT personnel related to digital-based projects such as blockchain, mobile, and next-generation electronic passport projects across all recruitment types.

Applications for new IT employees (internship-type recruitment) will be accepted from 12:00 PM on the 19th until 5:00 PM on the 26th, followed by a first-round document screening and a second-round interview to select the final successful candidates.

In response to the resurgence of infectious diseases, the corporation will significantly simplify the recruitment process by converting most stages to online and non-face-to-face formats.

Additionally, in accordance with the revised Innovation City Act, the corporation will continue to promote the hiring of local talents and fulfill its social responsibility as a public enterprise through equitable recruitment of people with disabilities, national veterans, and low-income groups.

The final successful candidates for each recruitment type will undergo a three-month internship, after which they will be converted to full-time employees based on work evaluations.

Further details regarding recruitment can be found in the recruitment announcement posted on the corporation’s website.

Previously, the corporation hired 54 new employees in the first half of the year. This means a total of 90 new personnel will be recruited throughout the year.

This is more than a 50% increase compared to the average number of new hires (58.7) over the past three years.

Cho Yong-man, president of Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation, said, “We hope that many creative and talented individuals who will help us achieve our vision of becoming the world’s best minting, certification, and security service company will apply.”
