Toz, a leading domestic space service company, will hold a business briefing session for aspiring entrepreneurs interested in opening unmanned study cafes. The briefing sessions will be held twice on the 15th (Thursday) at Toz Meeting Center Gangnam Branch 2, located near Exit 6 of Sinnonhyeon Station in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Until recently, due to the resurgence of COVID-19, inquiries about Toz Study Cafe franchises were conducted only through non-face-to-face methods such as phone calls or emails, which limited information delivery. Therefore, this business briefing session is expected to be a meaningful opportunity where beginner prospective franchisees with only vague ideas about starting a business, as well as practical prospective franchisees who have visited various study cafes and established their own criteria for entrepreneurship, can gather in one place to analyze and compare the prospects of the study cafe industry and the unique strengths of Toz Study Cafe.
There are also many benefits for participants in this Toz Study Cafe business briefing session. Prospective franchisees attending the briefing will have the opportunity to secure carefully selected properties through commercial area analysis, and upon signing a franchise agreement, they will receive benefits worth 10 million KRW. Applications for the Toz Study Cafe business briefing session can be made by 5 p.m. on the 14th (Wednesday) via the startup information page on the official Toz website or by phone.
A representative of Toz Study Cafe explained, “Toz Study Cafe is Toz’s first unmanned study cafe, combining 20 years of space and operational know-how from Korea’s number one premium reading room brand Toz with consumer-centered IT technology through the Toz exclusive application, which enables mobile reservations and payments.” They confidently added, “Until now, Toz customers have enjoyed various meeting cultures at Toz Meeting Centers, experienced reasonable office environments at Toz Work Centers, and improved learning quality at Toz Study Centers. Now, through Toz Study Cafe, they will experience an elevated level of service regardless of generation.”
Toz Study Cafe first opened its Songdo New City Center in May, followed by the Bora Center and Gongdeok Center in July and September, respectively. Additionally, franchise agreements have been signed nationwide with eight centers, including Anyang Myeonghak Center, Dongtan Bansong Center, Gyeongsan Hayang Center, and Gwanggyo Lake Center. The Toz Study Cafe Gongdeok Center is an additional franchise by a Toz Study Center franchisee who, after operating a Toz Study Center for five years and feeling satisfied with the Toz brand, opened a Toz Study Cafe in the same building.
