Thanks to the booming securities market and the lowered barriers to listing compared to the past, more companies are knocking on the doors of the top-tier markets. Among them, there are notable IT companies listed on KONEX that are challenging KOSDAQ listing based on their excellent technology and performance.
Bflysoft is a specialized company in artificial intelligence WIGO technology and Korea's largest media big data service platform (BDaaS) with legally secured copyrights. Its main services include the media monitoring service EyeSurfer, big data analysis service WIGOMON, and the global media open platform Rozeus service.
Bflysoft is a differentiated company in the media big data field. As an official distributor of media big data copyrights, it has accumulated hundreds of billions of legally sourced media big data records over the past 15 years from more than 2,000 domestic media partners, learning and building these into a service platform based on AI technology, which is a key differentiating point.
The company possesses core engine technologies at every stage of big data and AI, including legal big data copyrights, preprocessing, labeling, NLP, NLU, and NLG. While other related AI companies mostly generate revenue through SI service contracts, Bflysoft has a stable growth revenue structure with over 90% of its sales coming from big data platform services (BDaaS). Its sales are expected to grow sharply from 19 billion KRW in 2019 to 29 billion KRW this year, a 53% increase compared to the previous year.
Bflysoft, a KONEX-listed company, is reportedly planning to transfer its listing to KOSDAQ next year. Recently, it received an A grade in the ‘Preliminary Technology Evaluation for KOSDAQ Technology Special Listing’ from the official TCB technology evaluation agency, indicating that its high technological capability and business potential will likely facilitate a smooth transfer to KOSDAQ next year.
CE Lab is an all-in-one video AI company encompassing hardware services, software, and data distribution businesses necessary for video AI technology. It is a partner of the global GPU company NVIDIA and has built and is operating the video recognition big data platform X-VISION.
Originally a startup analyzing big data from SNS, CE Lab was listed on the KONEX market in 2013 as a big data analysis specialist. In 2018, it launched the 'X-Series,' which includes the essential hardware GPU (Graphic Processing Unit) resource management solution 'Uyuni' and the video AI modeling solution 'X-labeller' for artificial intelligence technology.
Its main businesses include the framework business selling and leasing NVIDIA GPUs together with CE Lab’s resource management solution, the application business selling AI solutions such as X-labeller, and the data distribution business. Its sales in 2019 were 7.1 billion KRW, and on September 9th, it filed for preliminary review for KOSDAQ listing.
Datastreams (CEO Lee Youngsang) is a big data solution specialist company. It focuses on developing data governance solutions such as data integration and big data analysis platforms, data standards and quality management, data flow management, and master data management.
It boasts the completeness of data integration technology accumulated over 19 years and holds a leading market share domestically. Based on this, Datastreams is aiming to enter the global market. Its flagship product, TeraStream, is a data integration and big data solution developed in-house, characterized by its ability to process large volumes of data at high speed without extraction functions.
Additionally, Datastreams is competing with domestic and global companies in the big data market through its ‘big data fabric’ strategy, which combines governance and virtualization technologies with existing data warehouse and big data lake technologies. It recorded sales of 22.9 billion KRW in 2019 and is reportedly planning to list on KOSDAQ next year.
