[Asia Economy Reporter Hana Na] Kim So-yeon, the head of the People Power Party's Daejeon district committee, who caused controversy by hanging a banner with the phrase "The Moon is in the Military Prison," has announced her voluntary resignation. Now, she has posted a critical message targeting Yoo Si-min, chairman of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation, and Sohn Suk-hee, CEO and president of JTBC.

On the 10th, Kim shared a photo on her Facebook page showing Yoo and Sohn smiling broadly at the time of their past arrests, calling it a "despicable smile."

She said, "In my 20s, Kim So-yeon thought the photos below looked cool," adding, "As I passed through my 30s and approached my 40s, I began to see how servile and despicable that smile really is, and how it is full of bravado hiding fear."

She continued, "Although failing to uphold law, principles, and promises is nothing to be proud of, the cowardly smile that deceives even itself with childish rationalizations, narcissism, and sophistry reveals its true nature, and it was then that I truly felt I had become an adult."
