Jeju Air to Operate Sightseeing Flight 'Sky Travel Inside the Plane' on the 23rd

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Jeju Air announced on the 8th that it will operate a sightseeing flight program called "Sky Travel Inside the Airplane," which departs from Incheon International Airport on the 23rd, circles over domestic airspace, and then returns.

According to Jeju Air, this sightseeing flight will depart from Incheon Airport at 4 PM on the 23rd, circle over inland airspace, and return to Incheon Airport, with a total flight time of 1 hour and 30 minutes.

During the flight, in-flight events such as a lucky draw will be held together with the Jeju Air JJ Service Team flight attendants. Additionally, all passengers will be provided with a travel bag and food and beverage package (including tangerine juice and snacks), as well as a medical kit (hand sanitizer and masks), prepared jointly by Jeju Air, Incheon Tourism Organization, and Incheon International Airport Corporation. However, in-flight food and beverage service will be limited for safety reasons.

Reservations can be made on the Jeju Air website, with New Class seats priced at 129,000 KRW and economy seats at 99,000 KRW, both based on total fare. Furthermore, a package including a one-night stay at the Best Western Harbor Park Hotel (standard room for two) operated by the Incheon Tourism Organization and an economy class airfare is available for 159,000 KRW. To use the hotel accommodation for two people, one person should purchase the package, and the other should purchase an economy seat.

A Jeju Air official stated, "This is significant as the first sightseeing flight for the general public," adding, "We will develop various products so that this new trend, which meets the needs of airlines and customers who want to travel in the COVID-19 era, can be established."
