[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulsan City, together with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the National Balanced Development Committee, will hold the ‘2020 Online Regional Talent Joint Recruitment Briefing Session’ from the 7th to November 30th.

This briefing session provides public institution recruitment information, regional education programs (Open Campus), and successful employment cases to job seekers in the Ulsan area. The event was organized to increase the employment rate of regional talents and expand recruitment opportunities in public institutions.

This year, due to COVID-19, the event will be held in a non-face-to-face format. Recruitment information from about 100 public institutions relocated to innovative cities nationwide will be provided in one place through an online website.

Main information includes ▲mandatory recruitment of regional talents, ▲public institution recruitment briefing videos, ▲expert lectures on the National Competency Standards (NCS), ▲successful employment cases, ▲employment senior VLOGs, and ▲Q&A with recruitment officers.

Through the operation of a Q&A room with recruitment officers, one-on-one customized employment counseling will also be conducted to increase participant satisfaction.

Public institutions relocated to Ulsan City participating in the ‘2020 Regional Talent Online Joint Recruitment Briefing Session’ include Korea National Oil Corporation, Korea East-West Power, Korea Energy Agency, Human Resources Development Service of Korea, Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service, and Korea Energy Economics Institute.

In relation to this, Ulsan City will produce the ‘2020 Ulsan Innovative City Relocated Public Institutions Joint Recruitment Guide’ booklet and distribute the material to all high schools and universities in the area.

An official from Ulsan City said, “In a situation where employment opportunities are decreasing due to the spread of COVID-19, we hope this online briefing session will be of great help to job seekers.”
