[Special Stock] I-Scream Edu Wins Consecutive AI National Projects... 'Rising'

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Ice Cream Edu is showing strong performance. It appears that the news of securing contracts for national AI projects has had an impact.

As of 2:24 PM on the 5th, Ice Cream Edu was trading at 8,700 KRW, up 2.96% (250 KRW) compared to the previous trading day.

Ice Cream Edu announced that it signed three contracts for national AI projects on the same day. The three contracts are for the Korea Radio Promotion Association (RAPA)'s 5G Content Flagship Project, and two projects under the National Information Society Agency (NIA)'s 2nd AI Learning Data Construction Project: the "Contextual Voice AI Data" sector and the "Mathematics Learner Competency Measurement" sector. The total government support amount for these projects is 4.05 billion KRW.

Regarding RAPA's 5G Content Flagship Project, Ice Cream Edu will develop customized non-face-to-face AI English learning content and services tailored to learners' proficiency levels. They plan to commercialize English content and services in a storytelling format using free conversational voice processing technology, which will replace or complement the role of AI foreign language teachers.

In NIA's 2nd AI Learning Data Construction Project, which is considered a signature project of the Digital New Deal, Ice Cream Edu will undertake two sectors: "Contextual Voice AI Data" and "Mathematics Learner Competency Measurement."

In the "Contextual Voice AI Data" sector, Ice Cream Edu will participate as a consortium member. The executing organization is TmaxSoft, and other participating organizations and companies include Namu Technology and the Korea Edutech Industry Association. Ice Cream Edu will be responsible for data collection and processing, as well as applying the data to service applications.

In the "Mathematics Learner Competency Measurement" sector, Ice Cream Edu will form a consortium with Changwon City, Gyeongnam National University, TmaxBI, the Edutech Industry Association, and the Intelligent Information Industry Association to carry out the "Development Project of Learner Competency Measurement Data Set for Resolving Academic Gaps in Mathematics in the Changwon Area." Utilizing AI learning data owned by Ice Cream Edu, the project aims to verify solutions to learning gaps, conduct a primary pilot in Changwon City, and subsequently expand services nationwide while laying the foundation for revitalizing the AI-based edutech industry.
