[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seocho District Council Chairperson Kim Ansook and Vice Chairperson Choi Jong-bae visited Seocho Police Station and Bangbae Police Station on the 23rd and 25th respectively to encourage the police officers on duty.

Chairperson Kim Ansook and Vice Chairperson Choi Jong-bae delivered consolation gifts to the police officers who are fully committed to emergency duty to ensure that district residents have a comfortable and safe Chuseok holiday, while also listening to the difficulties faced on site.

Chairperson Kim Ansook stated, “On behalf of the district residents, I thank the police and police officers for their hard work and dedication. Because of you, Seocho residents can spend the Chuseok holiday with peace of mind and confidence. I ask that you continue to work diligently on local security with pride and a sense of mission.”

Meanwhile, Seocho District council members visited five welfare facilities and delivered 90 bags of Icheon rice Haedeul米, purchased from Icheon City (a sister organization of Seocho District) which suffered difficulties due to this summer’s heavy rains, to underprivileged neighbors, spreading warm Chuseok sentiments.
