[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Block B member Park Kyung has admitted to past school violence allegations and apologized.
On the 29th, Park Kyung stated on SNS, "I sincerely apologize to those who were hurt because of me at that time, and to those who are still hurt when they see me and recall past memories."
Park Kyung wrote, "I was a child who only knew how to study in elementary school. But for some reason, those things were subjects of teasing and neglect among friends of that age. Being smaller and weaker compared to my peers, I entered middle school with those memories."
He continued, "I disliked the image of a model student and liked being noticed. The so-called 'playing friends' looked cool to me. I wanted to hang out with them and did shameful things together. I thought that if I was with them, no one would treat me badly. I deeply regret my immature adolescence."
He added, "Although I have been living busily, I know that for those who were hurt by me, those memories never fade, and those wounds can never be justified. I ask those who were hurt and suffered damage to contact me directly or through our company. I want to visit personally to apologize and ask for forgiveness."
Finally, Park Kyung said, "After hearing about this incident, I was afraid that people might think I am a person who is different in front and behind, or that everything was hypocrisy and acting. But I felt that if I conveyed my position through the company, I would be more ashamed of myself, so I am writing this directly."
Earlier, on the 28th, a netizen posted an allegation that they were bullied by Park Kyung during school days. The author of the post claimed to have attended the same school as Park Kyung and suffered assault from him, demanding an apology.
