[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Seoul recorded the lowest level since the 10th of last month.
Seoul City announced on the 29th at midnight that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases increased by 11 compared to the previous day. The daily new confirmed cases in Seoul had increased significantly after the Gwanghwamun rally on the 15th, rising from 6 cases on August 10th to 15 cases on the 11th.
Two people tested positive at Dana Hospital in Dobong-gu, and investigations are underway to determine if this is a new cluster infection. Three cases have other infection routes, and the infection routes of the remaining six are being confirmed.
As of now, the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Seoul is 5,242, of which 4,401 have recovered and been discharged, and 787 are currently in isolation.
