BKBC Collaborates with YouTuber Bambigeol for New Release


[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Kolon Industries FnC Division (hereinafter Kolon FnC) is launching products through a collaboration with a fashion YouTuber under its handbag brand BKBC.


BKBC is an online-focused brand targeting customers in their early to mid-20s, recently enhancing its brand appeal through unique projects with various creators and influencers.


This collaboration product is the 'Soft Croissant Bag' for the upcoming fall/winter season. It is a popular item that has undergone five reorders since its spring/summer release. The design has been renewed in collaboration with YouTuber Bambigirl and relaunched in four trendy colors. Bambigirl’s YouTube channel has about 430,000 subscribers and is popular among women in their 20s.


The Soft Croissant Bag is a shoulder bag shaped like a croissant with metal accents as a focal point. It features soft leather that naturally styles according to its curves. Among the four colors, two colors selected by Bambigirl are being pre-released on this day.


The two products will be available for group purchase exclusively on BKBC’s Naver Store from 6 PM on the 29th for six days. To celebrate the exclusive launch, the bags will be offered at a discounted price along with a promotional gift (Baguette Bag).


Meanwhile, Bambigirl’s popular segment ‘Maeotnyeo (Girl Who Buys Clothes Every Day)’ will reveal styling ideas under the theme ‘Coordinating a Week with One Bag,’ showcasing how anyone can style outfits using just the Soft Croissant Bag.


The four colors (French Canvas, Bambi Olive, Saddle Burgundy, Midnight Black) will be available from the 6th of next month on the official Kolon Mall website and affiliated malls.


A BKBC representative stated, “BKBC is striving to create content on optimal platforms aligned with product launches to actively communicate with the MZ generation,” adding, “We will continue to deliver exciting collaborations to consumers.”
