A unique racing video featuring Airbus's high-performance helicopter model ACH160 and the Renault F1 team race car competing across sky and ground was released on Airbus's YouTube and Facebook channels, drawing attention.

This unusual showdown held at the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, France, showcased high-speed driving, handling, and cornering reminiscent of an actual F1 race, revealing the outstanding flight capabilities of the ACH160 model comparable to those of an F1 race car.

Scheduled for commercialization in 2021, the Airbus ACH160 model is an upgraded version of the H160 helicopter, boasting the highest level of equipment and technology among helicopters in its class. The H160 model obtained certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) last July and is equipped with next-generation Airbus helicopter features such as advanced safety functions, the integrated modular avionics system Helionix, and flight envelope protection.
