According to the legal community on the 28th, the Public Investigation Division 2 of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Kwon Sang-dae) recently received the case involving Assemblyman Kim, which was referred for investigation by the Central Election Commission, and has begun reviewing the records.
It was revealed that Assemblyman Kim omitted apartment pre-sale rights worth over 1 billion won during the asset disclosure before the general election and reduced the number of reported houses from four to three.
In response, the Democratic Party, while investigating Assemblyman Kim's alleged violations of the Public Official Election Act and false asset reporting through the Ethics Inspection Team, expelled him for failing to cooperate sincerely.
