CMX Selected as the Only K-Non-Face-to-Face Voucher Platform Provider in the Construction Sector
CMX, a developer of smart construction collaboration platforms led by CEO Ki-sang Lee, announced on the 21st that it has been selected as a supplier for the 'K-Non-Face-to-Face Voucher Platform Project' organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
On the 21st, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups selected 412 non-face-to-face services including video conferencing, telecommuting, network and security solutions, and online education for the 'K-Non-Face-to-Face Voucher Platform Project.'
Demand companies wishing to use the services must apply through the K-Startup website. If selected as a demand company, they can use non-face-to-face services through the K-Non-Face-to-Face Voucher Platform within a limit of 4 million KRW (including a 10% self-payment).
CMX, the first domestic smart construction app developer, provides the only construction collaboration platform among the 412 non-face-to-face services, the subscription-based 「Conup」.
「Conup」 is a smart site management application that digitally transforms the manual site management methods that remain despite the Fourth Industrial Revolution, supporting mobile-based concurrent engineering tasks. It is a platform that uploads all construction site images, construction details, and real-time inspection checklist information to the cloud.
The core of 'Conup' is the non-face-to-face inspection collaboration function between constructors and supervisors (Akiem). The hardcopy manual checklist method is replaced by creating checklists on mobile devices and sending them to the supervisor’s mobile device to complete inspections. This realizes real-time smart collaboration between constructors and supervisors without face-to-face interaction.
CEO Ki-sang Lee of CMX stated, “「Conup」 is designed for small and medium construction sites where remote work transition was difficult due to manual methods despite the spread of COVID-19. We are pleased to be able to distribute the 「Conup」 service at only 10% of the cost through the non-face-to-face service voucher project.” He added, “Through Conup, we will demonstrate that manual record-keeping is no longer necessary at construction sites. It has already started being used by the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Urban Infrastructure Headquarters and the top 10 construction companies. We hope to confirm the infinite possibilities of construction through digital transformation of the entire construction process.”
