[Asia Economy Reporter Joeslgina] From Super Junior's Choi Siwon to adorable Welsh Corgis... If you want to take special photos for your children or nephews and nieces during the Chuseok holiday, how about 'Jump AR'?
According to SK Telecom on the 1st, Jump AR is characterized by its simple and intuitive AR camera features. Depending on your preference, you can summon 3D content and freely adjust its position and size on the screen to take fun photos. You can take pictures posing with a heart shape affectionately with Super Junior member Choi Siwon, or take photos that look like you're battling with Yasuo, a popular champion character from the game League of Legends (LoL), wielding a weapon.
When you launch the app, you can see the AR camera screen right from the start. Selecting AR content arranged as emoticons at the bottom of the screen immediately brings up 3D images on the screen.
▲K-pop singers ▲Pets and rare animals ▲LoL game characters ▲Movie Troll characters ▲Mini animals wearing KBO League team uniforms ▲Jurassic dinosaurs ▲Deoksugung Palace pavilions, and other AR content with realistic movements and sound effects are lined up. Additionally, various face mask features that can be applied to users' faces, such as king and queen reincarnation filters, LCK team cheering tools, and vampire masks, are also provided.
Photos taken can be easily shared with others by pressing the ‘Share’ button. The AR camera function supports both front and rear cameras, as well as photo and video shooting.
The movements of the 3D content are evaluated to be even more natural thanks to SK Telecom's latest AR technology. Through Inverse Kinematics technology, animals can move to locations specified by users or turn their heads following the user's gaze. Moreover, with Facial Re-targeting technology, the expressions of face masks instantly change according to the user's facial movements.
SK Telecom plans to continuously expand AR content within the Jump AR app through Jump Studio, which produces mixed reality content. The high-definition 3D hologram content of Choi Siwon, moving naturally, is also a result filmed at Jump Studio.
The Jump AR app is currently available on Android OS-based smartphones. It can be downloaded from One Store and Google Play Store.
