[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Cheongho Nice announced on the 28th that sales of the 'Hui Cafe' coffee ice water purifier increased by about 20% from January to August this year compared to the same period last year.


The Hui Cafe product, with a compact width of 29cm, offers users the advantages of providing purified water, cold water, hot water, ice, and coffee. As of the end of August this year, cumulative sales exceeded 100,000 units. The company explained that since its world-first launch in July 2014 as a coffee ice water purifier, it has gained great popularity among consumers for its convenience and hygiene.


The Hui Cafe product can extract three types of coffee: espresso, americano, and soft americano. It uses Italian coffee capsules. There are a total of nine types of Hui Cafe coffee capsules, allowing users to enjoy their preferred taste and aroma according to their preferences.


Cheongho Nice is selling various Hui Cafe series products, including stand-type and commercial-use models.


Won Gwangjik, Director of Marketing at Cheongho Nice, said, "As untact consumption becomes routine, the number of home cafe enthusiasts enjoying a cup of coffee at home is increasing," adding, "We will continue to develop differentiated new products tailored to customer needs and lead the water purifier market trend."
