[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The People Power Party proposed to the Democratic Party of Korea, "Let's jointly adopt the bipartisan resolution condemning North Korea that was passed last week at the National Defense Committee of the National Assembly."

Choi Hyung-doo, the floor spokesperson for the People Power Party, said in a briefing on the 28th, "The Democratic Party should open the plenary session at 2 p.m. and jointly adopt the bipartisan resolution condemning North Korea that was passed last week at the National Defense Committee," adding, "The Justice Party and the People Party are also demanding this."

He added, "We should also conduct an urgent current affairs inquiry together, but if the Democratic Party refuses, we can continue to discuss the urgent current affairs inquiry."

As the Democratic Party postponed the resolution condemning North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's apology, the leadership of the People Power Party held a one-person protest in front of the Blue House on the 27th to pressure the adoption of the resolution condemning North Korea. Sim Sang-jung, the leader of the Justice Party, which is classified as part of the ruling coalition, as well as the People Party, classified as opposition, also raised their voices, saying, "Let's adopt the resolution condemning North Korea."
