[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] Hanwha Group announced on the 27th that it won a total of six awards, including the Company of the Year Award, at the 'SABRE Asia Pacific Awards,' the world's largest PR awards ceremony.
The SABRE AWARD is an awards ceremony hosted by the global marketing and communications media Holmes Report.
Hanwha Group and the advertising agency Innocean won four main awards, including the Diamond SABRE Award for Company of the Year for their sustainability campaign 'Cleanup Mekong - Hanwha Solar Boat,' as well as awards in the Brand Building category, Gold Award in CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), and Social Issues Communication category.
Cleanup Mekong is an environmental protection campaign conducted by Hanwha Group to contribute to solving environmental issues in the Vietnam region. Hanwha Group became the first domestic company to win the Company of the Year Award at this ceremony.
Hanwha produced two solar panel-powered waterborne garbage collection boats and donated them to Vinh Long City, Vietnam, last year. The Cleanup Mekong campaign has previously won multiple awards at international advertising festivals.
Additionally, Hanwha Group's global newsroom won two awards: the Gold Award in the Korea category and the Digital Newsroom award in the content specialization category.
