Over 100 New and Experienced Positions
Applications Accepted Until the 7th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] BGF Group announced on the 27th that it will double the scale of its new employee recruitment in the second half of the year despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
BGF Retail, which operates CU, along with other affiliates such as BGF Logis, BGF Ecobio, and Hello Nature, plans to hire a total of about 100 new and experienced employees. This represents an approximately 90% increase compared to the previous year.
In addition to the regular recruitment in the first and second half of the year, BGF Group will also conduct internships and occasional recruitment of experienced employees. Eligibility for new employee applicants includes graduates or expected graduates by February 2021 from four-year universities. Applications will be accepted through the BGF Retail recruitment website from the 28th until the 7th of next month.
The positions BGF Retail is recruiting for include ▲Sales Management ▲Strategic Planning ▲Finance Support ▲Product Operations ▲Others (IT, Logistics, etc.). The recruitment process consists of document screening, aptitude tests, first and second interviews, on-site training, and final hiring. In addition to the new employee recruitment, department-specific internships are also being recruited. Outstanding talents will be selected from key departments such as product, finance, IT (big data), and marketing to undergo internships lasting 2 to 4 months, after which final hiring decisions will be made through interviews. Internships can be applied for concurrently with the second half new employee recruitment.
BGF Logis is recruiting for positions related to the operation and management of nationwide logistics centers, while BGF Ecobio is hiring new and experienced employees for roles in eco-friendly plastic manufacturing, business planning, overseas sales, and R&D. Hello Nature is also conducting occasional recruitment focusing on core positions such as MD, marketing, and IT in line with the recent expansion of the e-commerce market.
To ensure the safety of applicants amid the COVID-19 situation this year, BGF Group is providing recruitment briefings via YouTube and real-time online consultations instead of campus recruiting, and is implementing non-face-to-face artificial intelligence (AI) aptitude tests.
Park Jeong-kwon, head of BGF HR team, said, "With the recruitment market becoming even narrower due to COVID-19 this year, the greatest gift to job seekers is not just words of encouragement but providing as many employment opportunities as possible. BGF will expand recruitment scale through various affiliates and diverse screening methods to bring warmth to the frozen employment market."
