[Breaking] Sporadic Infections Continue... Gyeonggi-do Reports 21 New Confirmed Cases

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Seung-gon] Gyeonggi Province announced on the 27th that the number of new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) increased by 21 the previous day.

According to the province, as of 0:00 on the 27th, the cumulative number of confirmed cases is 4,334. Two additional COVID-19 cases were confirmed related to Kia Motors Gwangmyeong Sohari Plant. This brings the total related confirmed cases in Gyeonggi Province to 20.

Scattered infection cases continued with 12 cases (57.1%) reported in 9 cities and counties including Anseong, Yongin, and Paju.

The number of imported cases increased by 3, and the proportion of confirmed cases with unknown infection routes was 14.3% (3 cases).

The number of deaths increased by 1, bringing the cumulative death toll to 70.
