[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the morning of the 25th, Chaehyunil, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, attended a Songpyeon-making sharing event with members of the Yeongdeungpo Saemaeul Women's Association in the yard behind the Mokhwa Village Vitality Center in Mullae-dong.

The Songpyeon made that day was distributed to a total of 180 households, including elderly people living alone and low-income families in the area, with the hope that all residents would have a warm holiday.

Mayor Chae said, "Ahead of Chuseok, the nation's biggest holiday, I will take even more meticulous care to ensure that not a single resident is left out and that everyone can have a warm holiday."
