[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] Elementary school brothers who suffered severe burns in a fire at a house without a guardian opened their eyes 12 days after the accident.

The 10-year-old older brother is showing some improvement, responding to medical staff and family members, but the 8-year-old younger brother still shows no response.

According to the police on the 25th, the elementary school brothers A (10) and B (8), who were seriously injured in a fire at a villa in Michuhol-gu, Incheon on the 14th, are receiving treatment in the intensive care unit of a specialized burn hospital in Seoul.

A, who suffered severe third-degree burns on 40% of his body and is undergoing treatment, opened his eyes for the first time since the accident on this day, and responded by blinking when medical staff or family called his name.

However, B, who suffered first-degree burns, also opened his eyes like his older brother but showed no response when his name was called.
