[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Koo Bon-hwan, president of Incheon International Airport Corporation who is facing a crisis, announced legal action, claiming that there were illegal acts during the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's audit procedures.

On the afternoon of the 25th, President Koo held a press conference at Incheon International Airport and stated, "In June, an auditor from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport entered my official residence without consent and conducted an internal investigation of the apartment," adding, "This is a clear criminal act of illegal trespassing and search without a warrant or authority."

President Koo continued, "This proves that the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport conducted the audit forcibly and unlawfully in a fabricated manner," and announced his intention to take legal action, saying, "I will consider filing a criminal complaint against the related parties at an appropriate time."

Regarding the approval of his dismissal proposal requested by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport at the Public Institution Committee of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance the day before, President Koo expressed his grievance again. He said, "I acted according to the manual and did not violate any procedures," and criticized it as a "hasty and forcibly conducted blind audit."

Concerning suspicions that this dismissal is essentially a scapegoating related to the 'Incheon International Airport Corporation incident,' he hinted at the possibility of a future truth dispute. President Koo stated, "It is not appropriate to disclose it here," and added, "If I appear as a witness at the National Assembly audit, I will truthfully disclose everything without hiding anything."
