CJ Freshway announced on the 25th that it signed a business agreement on mutual exchange and cooperation with the Seoul Public and Private Daycare Center Association at its headquarters in Sangam-dong, Seoul the day before.
Founded in 1970, the association is a coalition of about 1,700 daycare centers in Seoul, working for the development of infants, parents, and local communities, as well as proposing policies and improving systems needed on the ground.
About 40 people, including Yoon Seong-hwan, Head of Sales Division at CJ Freshway, and Kim Seong-hee, President of the Association, attended the signing ceremony. At the event, both parties agreed to lead the eco-friendly meal culture in daycare centers and promote mutual business benefits.
According to the agreement, both parties will mutually support education and human resources to foster a healthy food culture for children. CJ Freshway will compose menus and snacks using various eco-friendly agricultural products secured nationwide, and the association will propose these to public daycare centers in Seoul.
After the signing ceremony, the visiting group toured CJ Freshway’s differentiated kids content infrastructure, ‘Ainuri Kiki Zone’ and ‘Cooking Academy.’ Currently, CJ Freshway operates ‘IonTact,’ which provides on-site content such as cooking classes and Ainuri Vegetable School in the Ainuri Kiki Zone via VOD and real-time online.
Yoon Seong-hwan, Head of Sales Division at CJ Freshway, said, “The most important thing for infants is healthy and safe food,” adding, “We will work together with the Seoul Public and Private Daycare Center Association to foster a healthy food culture for infants.”
