Dongmyeong University and Korea Technology Finance Corporation Agree to Promote Laboratory Startups

Dongmyung University and the Korea Technology Finance Corporation signed a business agreement on the 23rd regarding the activation of laboratory startups and related matters.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Dongmyung University (President Jeong Hong-seop) Southeast Region Laboratory Startup Innovation Group (Director Noh Seong-yeo) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korea Technology Finance Corporation on the 23rd in Room 307 of the Dongmyung University Business Administration Building for ‘Activation of Laboratory Startups and Realization of Social Value.’

The signing ceremony was attended by Dongmyung University Vice President Shin Dong-seok, Industry-Academia Cooperation Group Director Jeong Ki-ho, and Korea Technology Finance Corporation Director Kim Young-chun.

This agreement was arranged with the goal of promoting regional economic revitalization by supporting laboratory startup exploration teams to successfully start businesses through mutual cooperation between the Innovation Group and the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, thereby realizing social value and creating quality jobs.

The Innovation Group will recommend laboratory startup exploration teams with excellent technology to the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, which will provide free technology evaluations through talent donations and offer not only financial support for startups through preliminary entrepreneur support programs but also non-financial services such as consulting, participating in promoting startup success, job creation within the region, and regional economic revitalization.

Director Noh Seong-yeo said, “We expect that the laboratory startup exploration teams will take a step closer to successful startups and technology commercialization,” adding, “Through systematic support, we will contribute not only to the activation of startups but also to the realization of social value.”
