[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Citro?n announced on the 24th that it will hold a camping concept pop-up store at Songdo Triple Street until the 27th, showcasing its lineup of sports utility vehicles (SUVs).
Citro?n is setting up the pop-up store at the plaza of Building A in Songdo Triple Street, a complex cultural space known as a hub for fashion and lifestyle with a high influx of family customers. Through this, they plan to provide more customers with the opportunity to experience the C5 Aircross SUV and C3 Aircross SUV and to promote the brand’s value.
The exhibition space is based on the ‘La Maison Citro?n’ concept, identical to Citro?n showrooms, using wooden materials and the colors of the French flag to create a comfortable and lively camping atmosphere. Citro?n has prepared a customer lounge where visitors can relax while enjoying board games, as well as an event zone, in addition to vehicle displays.
At the pop-up store, a lucky number draw and on-site visit events will be held. The lucky number draw event takes place every hour on the hour from 11 a.m., where participants select five numbers on a sheet and then draw numbers from a game machine; prizes are awarded based on the number of matches. Various gifts such as Eider mats, Kessler sunglasses, and Citro?n goods are prepared. Additionally, all customers who take photos at the pop-up store and upload them to their social networking service (SNS) with the designated hashtag will receive a sparkling beverage Orangina.
All customers who sign a contract on-site will receive a 3-inch Citro?n miniature as a gift. Customers who visit the pop-up store during the event period and take delivery of a vehicle by October will receive a picnic package worth approximately 290,000 KRW, consisting of an Easy Mini Table and two types of low chairs from Snowline, a camping equipment specialist company.
Meanwhile, the Citro?n pop-up store will take thorough measures to prevent COVID-19. Frequently touched areas such as door handles, steering wheels, gear knobs, and all buttons will be regularly disinfected with cleaning alcohol. Customers will be guided to use hand sanitizers provided at the info desk and inside the vehicles before operating the cars.
