[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Singer Ahn Hee-jeong from 'Eye Contact' shared a difficult story about a past traffic accident.
On the 23rd, Ahn Hee-jeong, a 23-year veteran jazz singer who recently gained recognition through a trot audition program, appeared on Channel A's entertainment show 'Eye Contact'.
During the broadcast, Ahn Hee-jeong recalled the time of the traffic accident and shed tears.
He said, "I had a traffic accident at a very beautiful age and was diagnosed with a 30-week recovery period. I thought it was the end as a woman and as a singer. It was even overseas, not in Korea. The emergency transport costs were very high. If I couldn't have surgery within five days, I would become disabled."
He continued, "I came to Korea receiving painkillers and blood transfusions. I was scared of dying, but with a painful body, I repeated surgeries and rehabilitation for three years. This process was really tough."
In response, Park Joon-geum shed tears together and empathized with the pain, saying, "I hope Ahn Hee-jeong stops crying."
