[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] The Jinyeong Gas Station on the Namhae Expressway in the Suncheon direction, operated by Korea Expressway Corporation Busan Gyeongnam Headquarters, announced on the 23rd that it has collaborated with OWIN, the largest mobile refueling platform in Korea, to establish a contactless refueling system.
The contactless refueling service installed at the Jinyeong Gas Station in the Suncheon direction allows customers to make refueling reservations, payments, and point accumulation all at once through the app (OWIN). It also provides a fuel price comparison service between gas stations. Refueling can be done in 20 seconds without touchscreen operation, which shortens the time compared to regular refueling (2 minutes).
A gas station official stated, "Since customers preset gasoline and diesel through the app, misfueling accidents can be prevented in advance," adding, "The contactless system established to prevent COVID-19 has received very positive responses from customers."
