According to Incheon City on the 23rd, the couple in their 30s underwent COVID-19 testing after their daughter, a third grader in elementary school, was confirmed positive, and both tested positive.
The infection route of the daughter has not been identified. She developed a fever on the 21st and visited a screening clinic.
Health authorities are conducting an epidemiological investigation to determine the infection route based on statements that the father, Mr. A, showed suspected COVID-19 symptoms before the daughter.
Additionally, it was confirmed that Mr. A is an associate pastor at a church in Jakjeon Seoun-dong, Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, and COVID-19 testing has been requested for visitors to the church.
