[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Jo Woo-jong shared the story of losing 10kg after getting married.
On the 22nd, KBS2TV's 'Rooftop Problem Children' featured the announcer couple Jo Woo-jong and Jung Da-eun.
Jo Woo-jong caught attention by appearing with a slimmer figure. Jung Da-eun said, "I think the food I make doesn't taste good because he keeps losing weight. My husband has lost 10kg now. I focus on low-sodium and healthy meals."
Jung Da-eun continued, "When I bring food, he tells me to try it. He says it tastes bland because he can't really taste the flavor."
Jo Woo-jong rebutted, "No, that's not true. I've never said that."
Jung Da-eun said, "The menu is a bit like that. For example, on a day when a heatwave warning was issued like today, I made spicy rice cakes (tteokbokki)," which caused laughter.
Kim Sook asked, "Then why don't you cook?" Jo Woo-jong replied, "My wife likes cooking, so I usually eat what she makes." He added, "One day, instead of rice, side dishes, and soup, she gave me a red bean bun. Am I supposed to just eat that? But I ate it all."
Jo Woo-jong continued, "If you eat rice and side dishes, it's salty, so you can eat the red bean bun then. It's a sweet and salty combo." Jung Da-eun said, "It was about 2 or 3 months after we got married. No matter what I made, the table felt incomplete. So I put out the red bean bun."
Jo Woo-jong said, "I like octopus, so my wife made stir-fried octopus for me. But when I ate it, it felt like chewing on a tire." Jung Da-eun added, "When I made the stir-fried octopus, I didn't season it well. I followed an online recipe, but it really smelled like asphalt scraped by tires," which made everyone laugh.
