[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the afternoon of the 22nd, Chaehyunil, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District Office, received the Silver Award in the Government Innovation Management category at the '2020 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards' for the local-based virtuous cycle job project, 'Job Creation-type Yeongdeungpo Resident Technical School.'

The 'Job Creation-type Yeongdeungpo Resident Technical School' is a virtuous cycle job creation project that educates local youth and retired middle-aged individuals in specialized home repair skills such as wallpapering, tiling, electrical work, facilities, and carpentry. It aims to improve the poor living conditions of vulnerable groups and establish a sustainable urban community foundation through cooperative establishment.
