Saeul Headquarters Supports 100 Households in Ulju Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters is delivering holiday ancestral rite table items at the Ulju Food Bank Market Southern Branch on the afternoon of the 22nd in celebration of Chuseok.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Han Sang-gil) delivered Chuseok holiday ritual table items to the Ulju Food Bank Market Southern Branch on the afternoon of the 22nd.

This event supported the Chuseok ritual table setting for 100 households, including low-income families in the Ulju area and elderly people living alone spending the holiday by themselves.

The Ulju Food Bank Market, Community Chest of Korea, and Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters participated in this social contribution activity. KRW 7 million from the 'Love Fund' voluntarily raised by Saewool Headquarters employees was used.

Items worth about KRW 70,000 per household for the ritual table were purchased from traditional markets, assembled into kits, and delivered to each household.

As COVID-19 cases have been continuously occurring in Ulsan City recently, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, social distancing and quarantine rules will be followed, minimizing visits to each household, and the ritual items will be delivered in an untact (contactless) manner.

Han Sang-gil, head of Saewool Headquarters, said, “Although direct visits will be minimized this Chuseok due to COVID-19, we will provide substantial support to maximize interest and care for vulnerable groups.”
