BNK Financial Group Supports 'Happy Chuseok Celebration' for the Holiday

[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Kim] BNK Financial Group is promoting the ‘Happy Holiday Celebration’ support project for local neighbors in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.

According to BNK Financial on the 22nd, Busan Bank held the ‘2020 Chuseok Happy Blooming Sharing Project’ event at Busan City Hall to deliver ‘Holiday Gift Packages’ worth 440 million KRW to support the ceremonial table setting for underprivileged groups in the Busan area.

In addition to Busan, Busan Bank plans to deliver ‘Holiday Gift Packages’ worth 60 million KRW to the Gimhae and Yangsan areas.

Its affiliate, Gyeongnam Bank, will also support traditional market gift certificates worth a total of 278 million KRW in Changwon as well as the Gyeongnam and Ulsan regions for Chuseok.

The traditional market gift certificates supported by Gyeongnam Bank will be used to revitalize local traditional markets and help underprivileged neighbors have a warm holiday.

A BNK Financial official said, “We hope this sharing project will be a small help to our neighbors struggling due to COVID-19 and other difficulties,” adding, “BNK Financial will continue to carry out various social contribution projects to practice sharing with local neighbors.”
