[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Emart Peacock partnered with Baek Jong-won on the 22nd to launch the 'Spicy Jeyuk Bibimmyun Meal Kit' and 'Clear Broth Pagaejang Meal Kit.' Using domestically produced pork and agricultural products, this meal kit aims to promote the consumption of domestic agricultural and livestock products.
The 'Spicy Jeyuk Bibimmyun (serves 2 · 12,800 KRW)' is a spicy bibimmyun mixed with Baek Jong-won's signature stir-fried pork sauce. It uses minced pork from the less preferred hind leg cuts as the main ingredient, helping to alleviate concerns about excess inventory for livestock farmers.
The 'Clear Broth Pagaejang (serves 2 · 12,800 KRW)' is a yukgaejang with a clear broth richly infused with the aroma of green onions. Using domestically grown green onions, which act as the essential flavoring in the dish, it offers a refreshing soup recipe that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
Meanwhile, in addition to the meal kits collaborated with Baek Jong-won, Emart also introduced three types of 'Chungcheong Province Table' meal kits featuring distinctive Korean recipes from the Chungcheong region.
