Road Traffic Authority Releases Driver's Perspective Driving Video

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] On the 22nd, the Korea Road Traffic Authority released "Driving Test Route Videos for All Nationwide Driver's License Test Centers" on YouTube and Naver TV to facilitate the convenience of driver's license test applicants.
The videos were filmed from the driver's perspective under conditions identical to the actual test environment, producing a total of 108 videos?four types per each of the 27 driver's license test centers nationwide.
The videos are structured to evaluate all necessary safety driving items according to the actual road driving test scoring criteria, including ▲yielding to emergency vehicles ▲driver posture in child protection zones ▲speed limit violations, among others. Additionally, subtitles guiding the route and announcer narration were inserted to enhance the sense of realism.
Woo Jin-gu, Head of Public Relations at the Authority, said, "Through analysis of the Authority’s official YouTube account, we confirmed high demand for road driving test videos and produced these videos to serve as a proper road driving guide for test applicants. We also hope it helps prevent traffic accidents occurring during practice license driving."
The videos can be viewed on the Korea Road Traffic Authority’s Naver TV and official YouTube channels.
