Hanil Express has been providing services for passengers seeking contactless travel since launching the passenger ferry "Gold Stella," operating on the Yeosu~Jeju route, in June. The modern prestige ferry "Gold Stella" offers not only thorough quarantine services but also ultra-luxurious hotel-grade rooms and interior facilities unseen in Korea, resulting in high customer satisfaction and repeat usage.

Traveling by ferry allows passengers to move from home to destination in their own car, and the use of private rooms enables safe contactless travel, making it the most popular transportation option between the mainland and Jeju these days. In particular, Gold Stella features suites with ocean-view terraces, first-class rooms, family bed rooms, Maru rooms for children, and capsule rooms for solo travelers, allowing passengers to enjoy private rooms and beds separated from others, which is highly popular.

In line with these travel trends, Hanil Express is launching the "Ddadabong Event," offering various benefits selectable according to travel style for passengers practicing social distancing while maintaining strict onboard quarantine. Customers traveling with a car can receive a "20% discount on the vehicle + 50% discount for the driver" or an upgrade to a "capsule room" or "Maru room" when booking a second-class room. Additionally, passengers booking a third-class room can get a "1+1" discount on a single fare, or groups of six or more booking second-class rooms will be offered a "private room (20-person room)" on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is available only through advance reservations via the customer center from September 15 to December 31.

Moreover, "Silver Cloud," Hanil Express's first newly built domestic ferry operating on the Wando~Jeju route, is popular among pet families due to its short sailing time (2 hours 40 minutes), indoor and outdoor pet zones, and pet passport service allowing pets to travel together. Silver Cloud, boasting the highest boarding rate for dogs in Korea, has added one outdoor pet zone and two indoor pet zones to enhance customer convenience.
