Kyowon Group, 'Wells Homecare' Averages 300 Cases Per Month

Increase in Utilization Rate of Hygiene Management Services

Kyowon Group's 'Wells Homemaster' is cleaning a mattress using professional equipment.

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Kyowon Group announced on the 22nd that the usage rate of the home care service of 'Wells,' a comprehensive health appliance brand, has significantly increased.

The number of Wells home care service uses recorded an average of over 300 cases per month from June this year to last month. This is more than double compared to the same period last year. In January this year, it was around 100 cases, but the usage rate has been steadily increasing every month.

The reason for the increase in usage is that due to the longer rainy season than usual, customers wanting home care services have increased, especially for mattress products where bacteria easily breed in humid and hot temperatures. Home care service covers not only mattresses but also air conditioners, washing machines, and bidets.

A Kyowon Group Wells official said, "With the spread of COVID-19, interest in hygiene and health management has increased, leading to a continuous rise in home care usage," adding, "Especially, mattresses, air conditioners, and washing machines, which are used frequently in summer, have driven the increase in home care service usage."
