GDIA Signs Promotional Partnership with 25-Year-Old Footwear Company Noitaboni

[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] GDIA, a digital promotion platform advertising company for subway stations, announced on the 21st that it has signed a promotional business agreement with Noitaboni, a functional footwear specialist with 25 years of experience.


GDIA signed the brand and product advertising and promotional business agreement at Noitaboni's headquarters building in Gangnam, Seoul, with CEO Park Kwan-woo and Chairman Kwon Dong-hyuk of Noitaboni in attendance.


GDIA is the leading domestic subway media company that independently developed the country's first digital advertising platform for subway stations. Using proprietary technology based on the Global Positioning System (GPS), it operates a real-time platform providing public services including wayfinding, train arrival times, bus connection information, public bicycle usage information, and support in four languages at a total of 90 stations on subway lines 1 to 4.


Noitaboni is a footwear specialist company with 25 years of experience that developed the world's first spring shoes designed to help with posture correction and dieting according to body type. It holds numerous international patents in Korea and Europe. Noita shoes are equipped with smart sensors that allow users to check their exercise amount on their smartphones simply by wearing the shoes and walking. Users can also receive shoe rewards proportional to the distance walked. In the future, the company plans to launch products that integrate blockchain and healthcare big data to store related data and assist with personal health management.


Kwon Dong-hyuk, Chairman of Noitaboni, said, "We hope this will help raise awareness of the Noita shoe brand and open new sales channels," adding, "We will continue to develop better products." Park Kwan-woo, CEO of GDIA, stated, "This subway digital platform has created an opportunity to get closer to the general public," and added, "We will become a new powerhouse in the advertising industry."
