Changwon City Receives Donation of 300 'Happiness Boxes' from Asung Daiso

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] Changwon City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 21st that Asung Daiso Co., Ltd. donated 300 'Happiness Boxes' for low-income families in celebration of Chuseok.


The donated Happiness Boxes contain 24 essential items such as masks, hand sanitizers, and bathroom and kitchen supplies, and are scheduled to be distributed to 300 low-income households through the town and township offices.


Asung Daiso Co., Ltd. has supported 600 Happiness Boxes and 200 sets of children's school supplies to date through a social contribution agreement signed with Changwon City in April last year. In addition, the company contributes to spreading a culture of sharing in the local community through various sponsorship activities, including support for low-income groups in various regions, university development funds, support for North Korean defectors, and cultural and educational activities.


Park Ju-ya, Director of the Welfare, Women, and Health Bureau, said, "We are grateful for the help given to low-income families despite the difficult times for all companies, and we will deliver this kind gesture well."
