According to Gwangsan District on the 21st, Mayor Kim visited the homes of neighbors in need in Usan-dong, the Pyeong-dong workshop and facilities for the disabled, and Gwangju Caritas to listen to their difficulties and delivered rice and blankets while checking on their well-being.
The district plans to continue welfare and visitation activities for 3,776 socially vulnerable households and 46 social welfare living facilities until the 28th.
Mayor Kim said, "This is a special holiday amid the difficulties of COVID-19 and economic recession, so care for neighbors in need in the local community is even more urgent," adding, "Gwangsan District will also strive for the stability of residents' lives so that everyone can be happy and the entire Gwangsan community can have a bountiful holiday."
