Jangseong-gun to Inspect 112 Water Supply and Sewerage Facilities by the 25th

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 21st that from the 21st to the 25th, it will carry out maintenance on 112 water supply and sewage facilities within the jurisdiction, including water intake and purification plants, reservoirs, public sewage treatment facilities, and village water supply systems.

The county will deploy inspection teams to focus on checking for foreign substance inflow at water sources, leaks, manhole damage, drainage facility conditions, and safety inspections.

If any facilities requiring maintenance are identified, immediate repair work and dredging will be carried out to minimize inconvenience to residents during the Chuseok holiday period.

Additionally, a water supply and sewage situation room will be operated during the holiday period. Jangseong-gun will organize personnel for the situation room from September 30th to October 4th, the Chuseok holiday period, to respond to civil complaints and form an emergency restoration team for prompt recovery work.

A Jangseong-gun official stated, “We are thoroughly conducting pre-inspections of facilities to prevent any inconvenience related to water supply and sewage,” and added, “We will quickly resolve residents’ difficulties through effective operation of the situation room during the Chuseok holiday.”
