[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Honeybees, the operator of Seoul's official zero-delivery app 'Ddingdong' (CEO Yoon Moon-jin), announced on the 21st that when ordering with Seoul Love Gift Certificates discounted up to 10%, an additional 10% discount will be provided on the total food price including delivery fees. The benefit per person is 2,000 KRW daily, up to a maximum of 50,000 KRW.
Ddingdong has previously secured about 15,000 restaurants and applied Seoul Love Gift Certificates as a payment method. A Honeybees official explained, "In the past, Seoul Love Gift Certificates were limited to offline usage, but usability has greatly improved by integrating them as a payment method in Ddingdong."
The usage method is simple. Add the desired food to the cart in Ddingdong and select 'Zero Pay (Seoul Love Gift Certificate)' as the payment method. After identity verification, select the gift certificate for the corresponding district in the Zero Pay payment window, and the 10% additional discount is automatically applied. CEO Yoon Moon-jin of Honeybees emphasized, "When ordering delivery food on Seoul's zero-delivery app Ddingdong and selecting Seoul Love Gift Certificates as the payment method, up to a 20% discount is applied," adding, "This will resolve issues such as increased food prices due to high order brokerage fees and advertising costs, as well as reduced quantity and service quality, thereby improving the delivery food order ecosystem."
