Over 50 Brands Join 'Ssowindo' Opening... "Providing Customized Content for Each Customer"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Shinwon, a fashion company operating brands such as 'Zike' and 'Bestivelli,' has launched an online select shop called 'Showindow' targeting the 2030 generation.
On the 21st, Shinwon announced that it launched the comprehensive fashion commerce platform Showindow on the 18th. It features a total of over 50 brands of clothing, accessories, shoes, and jewelry, including Shinwon's own brands. This is the first time Shinwon has opened an online mall that hosts other companies' brands.
Showindow is designed as a customized style curation space where anyone can enjoy fashion, with the slogan "Show your style." It mainly targets young people in their 20s and 30s but offers a wide range of brands and items that can cover up to the 1040 generation.
It also features a specialized screen layout and content. Reflecting consumers' needs actively in the mall configuration, it proposes personalized products for each customer using the latest hashtag-based algorithm. The main screen is divided into the '#OOTD' area and the '#Store' area, separating the content enjoyment zone from the sales zone.
The '#OOTD' area operates as a daily look communication space for customers. Based on hashtags set by customers, personalized products reflecting each customer's unique taste, sensibility, and needs are displayed in a feed format. Based on this, customers can enjoy a natural user experience similar to browsing social networking services (SNS).
The '#Store' area is a shopping zone tailored to various settings, including customers' hashtags. Through brand picks exposed within the area, customers can check seller-recommended personalized styles, and through Now Deals, they can also find time-sale products available for a limited period and quantity.
In the Special tab, customers can find content such as collaborations conducted by hosted brands. Additionally, the 'Magazine' tab allows communication with customers in a weekly small magazine format, and a Top Seller feature provides access to the best products from brands.
Furthermore, a Real Fit feature providing lively model cuts in video form will be added in the future. Through a funding function, the process and history of new product creation will be introduced, and content launching products at special prices by setting target amounts will also be presented.
Shinwon plans to strengthen its online business through the launch of Showindow. It aims to increase online channel sales, which were about 20 billion KRW last year through the existing Shinwon Mall and external affiliate malls, to 30 billion KRW in 2021 and 40 billion KRW in 2022.
Shin Yoo-cheol, head of the e-Business Division overseeing Showindow, said, "Showindow aims to be a shopping platform where you can easily and quickly explore the latest fashion trends, just like exploring various styles in a fashion street's 'show window.'" He added, "We will continuously update exclusive products, content, and online shopping convenience."
