[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Shinsegae Duty Free is holding a special discount event at its duty-free domestic sales exclusive mall, SSG SPECIAL, to celebrate Chuseok, the largest traditional Korean holiday.

Shinsegae Duty Free announced on the 20th that the event, which runs from the 21st to October 4th, will offer over 500 products from 35 brands including Loewe, Marc Jacobs, Armani Watch, Foreo, and ASH at discounts of up to 64%. These prices include additional discounts on top of existing ones.

The product lineup is also diverse. From luxury bags to shoes, clothing, watches, jewelry, and beauty devices, a wide range of products will be showcased, expected to attract strong consumer interest.

Shinsegae Duty Free opened the specialized online mall ‘SSG SPECIAL’ for domestic sales of duty-free goods last July and has been steadily expanding its brand offerings. Recently, it has introduced premium delivery services and V-commerce, striving to provide consumers with a more convenient online shopping environment in line with the post-COVID-19 era.
