The daily new confirmed cases in Seoul rose to 63 on the 16th, then decreased to 46 on the 17th, continuing a two-day downward trend and remaining in the 40s. On the 18th, excluding 2 imported cases, there were 38 locally transmitted cases, 8 fewer than the previous day (46 cases). The positivity rate, calculated by dividing the number of confirmed cases on the day (40) by the number of tests conducted the previous day (2,935), also decreased to 1.4% from 1.9% on the 17th.
New cluster infection cases were classified as related to 'Gangnam-gu Donghun Industrial Development,' 'Architectural Briefing,' and 'Yangcheon Police Station,' respectively.
