Product and Service Surplus
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Europe continued its current account surplus trend in July.
According to the European Central Bank (ECB) announcement on the 18th (local time), the Eurozone's current account balance for July recorded a surplus of 16.6 billion euros. This is a 19.8% decrease compared to the 20.7 billion euros surplus in June.
By sector, the goods and services accounts recorded surpluses of 29.6 billion euros and 4.6 billion euros, respectively. On the other hand, the primary income and secondary income accounts showed deficits of 6.1 billion euros and 11.5 billion euros, respectively.
