[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] CS Wind, a company in the wind tower sector, and Samkang M&T, a company specializing in offshore wind substructures, are jointly targeting the global offshore wind market. CS Wind and Samkang M&T, members of the Korea Federation of Medium-sized Enterprises, signed a "Business Agreement for Strategic Partnership in Offshore Wind Projects" on the 18th at the Kensington Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul.

Based on a comprehensive cooperation system, the two companies plan to strengthen their status as global leading companies while closely collaborating to participate jointly in the government's Green New Deal projects, creating high-quality jobs. CS Wind is a wind tower manufacturer that has secured global wind turbine companies such as Vestas, GE, and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy as clients. It has a broad global supply chain based on production plants worldwide, including the UK, China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Turkey, and Malaysia. Samkang M&T has grown into a global maker of offshore wind substructures based on thick-walled steel pipe core technology. Recently, it has rapidly emerged as a rising power in the global offshore wind market by successfully securing large-scale overseas orders from Denmark, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and others.
