Hwasun-gun Seeks Operators for 'World Heritage Utilization Program'


[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 17th that it is recruiting operators for the 'World Heritage Utilization Program' to share and pass on the value of the dolmen heritage site, a World Heritage, with the public.


The selected operator will run a permanent program titled 'Living in the Dolmen Prehistoric Village,' which reenacts life in the dolmen prehistoric village and produces and exhibits prehistoric tools.


This program is scheduled to take place at the dolmen heritage site, prehistoric experience center, and Daesin-ri Cultural Experience Center.


The total project cost is 174.82 million KRW (50% national funding), and the project period is four months starting next month.


Eligible participants are social organizations, cultural and artistic groups, and institutions with addresses in the county.


Applications can be submitted by visiting the Culture and Arts Division in person by the 29th with the project application form and project plan, referring to the announcement on the website.


The county will comprehensively consider plan suitability, project implementation capability, and expected effects to select one company. The selection announcement will be individually notified after the evaluation and subsidy review committee in the middle of next month.
