NHN Payco Launches Insurance Claim Service "Send via App Without Documents"

[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] NHN announced on the 17th that it will launch the 'PAYCO Insurance Claim' service, which allows users to easily claim indemnity insurance benefits through the financial service app 'PAYCO'.

Subscribers of indemnity medical and dental insurance from over 30 insurance companies, including Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, KB Insurance, DB Insurance, NH Nonghyup Insurance, Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance, and Korea Post Insurance, can claim insurance benefits via the PAYCO app.

The PAYCO Insurance Claim service is linked with partner hospitals and medical data, so users do not need to separately obtain supporting documents from the hospital.

This reduces the inconvenience and costs for users compared to the traditional claim method, which required submitting documents to insurance companies via fax or mail.

By entering only the insured person's information in the 'Insurance Claim' menu within the PAYCO app, users can view medical records at once and send the claim form.

Even when using non-partner hospitals, users can conveniently attach documents by photographing the issued papers with their smartphones.

NHN PAYCO plans to continuously expand partnerships with insurance companies and hospitals for the 'PAYCO Insurance Claim' service. NHN PAYCO has also partnered with medical information transmission platform company G&Net.

An NHN PAYCO official stated, "We simplified the insurance claim process to meet the demand for non-face-to-face services in the insurance and medical fields," adding, "We will continue to expand non-face-to-face services that enhance everyday convenience."
