Mesh Korea Obtains Information Security Management System Certification

Proving the Stability of Information Protection Systems as an IT-Based Logistics Solution and Data Business Provider

Mesh Korea Obtains Information Security Management System Certification

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Mesh Korea (CEO Yoo Jung-beom), which operates the delivery agency service 'Boorung,' announced on the 17th that it has obtained the Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification.

The ISMS certification is a system that comprehensively evaluates whether a company has established and continuously operates and manages information security and protection systems and capabilities. It is supervised and managed by the Ministry of Science and ICT and audited by the Korea Internet & Security Agency. To be granted the certification, companies must pass a total of 80 certification criteria, including 16 items across 4 areas of 'management system establishment and operation' and 64 items across 12 areas of 'protection requirements.'

Mesh Korea explained that by obtaining this certification, it has received a more objective evaluation of its information protection system and recognition for a highly reliable security system, securing stability in IT-integrated logistics and integrated logistics services as well. Mesh Korea uses safe numbers for orderer information to prevent exposure during delivery, encrypts all corporate customer information for storage, and regularly destroys it, fundamentally blocking the possibility of information leakage.

Baek Je-hyun, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Mesh Korea, said, "The logistics industry now also requires a high level of security capabilities, and Mesh Korea will continuously strive to maintain customer data security capabilities as a logistics company."
